All human beings in this world will facing with problem and suffering. Whether we like it or not, every human can't run away from that 2 words. The only things make it different is how they figure it out. The fact that they exist would indicate that they definitely have a role to play in our lives. If you continue to do what you have always done, you will always get what you've got. Most of us just hate pain and suffering. So do I. But it is when we understand more about it that we may be more able to handle it when it comes. Throughout my life as a medical student, i felt a lot of problems and suffering before i will end it with excellent medical skills and knowledge. I remember many years back when i attended a motivation seminar in one camp. At one session, we were asked very obvious questions or so we thought. " WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE PROBLEMS, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HANDS". As a human being, the answer was so obvious...:-) .All of us raised our hands. The instructor then told us that each day while going to work he would pass a place where all the people "residing" there do not have any problems at all. And he asked us whether we would like to join these people since we had all raised our hands. We thought he was joking. But he continued to tell us that these people don't have the morning newspaper to worry about, no food problems, no work problems, no marriage problems, no financial problems, in fact no problems at all!!!..All the statements that he told us sounds weird and i was thinking that kind of area was in psychiatry ward. Hehehe..Our curiosity and interest were heightened and finally he told us that the place was the cemetery and all the people were dead. At that time i voice out my opinion. I said, problems and sufferings are an unpleasent but necessary part of being alive. It is the price we pay for being alive. I agreed that dead people don't feel any problems but they have soul form suffering or pain from the sin that they already made throughout their life. To me the gift of suffering and problems will bring me closer o ALLAH SWT. To teach me to be strong when i weak. To be brave when i afraid. To be wise in the midst f confusion and to let go that which i can no longer hold. In summary, the purpose of suffering is to repair that which is faulty in a man's personality and become more mature. As a take home message in this fasting month, we need to be more thankful to ALLAH in what ever tragedy has happened in our life. The most important note that i always remind my self and to other close family members and friends as well, we should always back to our creator (ALLAH) to get bless and may ALLAH bestow to all of us with full of Hidayah in the month of RAMADHAN al MUBARAK...DU'A to ALLAH SWT is the key of life when we suffering from problems. Then, we should work hard to solve the problem with logic thinking..RENUNG_RENUNGKAN LAH..

Last 10 days of ramadhan and MERDEKA

For our last 10 days of fasting month, i felt much better and become aware of what has happened in my life lately. I thank to ALLAH SWT because still give me full of energy and very fresh air of oxygen in order to make sure my brain can function well and i can do all my devotion to ALLAH SWT with peacefully. I almost finishing my chapter of qura'an during the majesty and great month of this year. Our Independence day (MERDEKA) also in the last 10 days of fasting month. May ALLAH bless my country and bless all Malaysian to have a great day with peacefully. I'm lucky that I'm born in Malaysia. A multi-racial and peaceful country to live in.I proud to be Malaysian citizen and this is the right country for me to develop my career as a doctor. MERDEKA.MERDEKA. MERDEKA. We already free from colonization. We can plan our life without any blockade. However we should must be moderate in every angle that we planning for. My father always be my reminder. He always remind me not try to harm or cheat to our beloved country. Who ever try to do all the betrayal action towards their own country should not get bless from ALLAH SWT and will be part of a big sin for them. I don't know why my patriotic mood was suddenly came tonight. Anywhere this is me who always support all the government policy and vision for our own benefit
To me, being Malaysian means having an identity – to have an identity you can call your own, but at the same time recognise that every Malaysian (regardless of race, culture or religion) is different and unique. Despite our differences, we are all bonded by the knowledge that, as a nation, we love our country.
To be Malaysian means being recognised – it’s amazing to travel to other parts of the world and hear people exclaim, “Oh, you are from Malaysia? It’s such a wonderful place and the people are just amazing!”
I mean, people in other parts of the world are beginning to recognise that Malaysia is a growing country and they have positive things to say about it. I’m proud to be part of this nation. To be Malaysian means having freedom – knowing that we have the freedom to grow and pursue our dreams. We live in a country that supports growth and knowledge, and we can do so much with the support of the government and the people around us.
A person should not be proud of the athletic physique they were born with; of the great voice God gave them. They had no choice in the matter.
What a person should be proud of is working out at the gym everyday, or singing six hours a day to hone those innate talents and use them well — that is what they have a choice in doing, that is what they control.
We didn't decide the mix of people our country has, the mix of cultures we enjoy, the mix of foods we gobble up. God set the wheels of history in motion so we ended up where we are today. We have no right to be proud of these.
These are the ingredients for something we can be proud of — for the construction of a powerful nation-state which can harness the different abilities of its peoples and cultures. But we are not using these ingredients wisely; we are squandering them, pouring them down the drain and spitting them into the rubbish bin.
We have the ingredients we need for the pride we long to have for our country. But we have no right to be proud of Malaysia as long as we do not use those ingredients wisely.
